1. Overview
Welcome to the independent server and VPS cloud services (the "Services") provided by Skyline Connect (the "Company"). By registering, purchasing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
2. Services
The Company provides services including but not limited to:
- Dedicated server leasing
- Virtual Private Server (VPS) services
- Network connectivity, IP address allocation, and related infrastructure
Service specifications, pricing, bandwidth, and traffic limits are subject to the order details or official descriptions.
3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not engage in activities including but not limited to:
- Any form of hacking, scanning, or intrusion
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Spam transmission or DDoS attacks
- Copyright infringement or any content that violates the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
- Hosting, storing, or distributing any content prohibited by this Agreement or applicable law
Users are also required to strictly comply with the laws and regulations of Japan and Singapore. Any activity that violates the laws or regulations of Japan or Singapore is strictly prohibited.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately, without prior notice or refund, in the event of any violation.
4. Refund Policy
⚠ IMPORTANT: Mainland China Network Disclaimer
Skyline Connect's infrastructure is located in Singapore and Tokyo. We DO NOT guarantee network quality, speed, latency, or connectivity to or from Mainland China. Due to international routing, carrier policies, and regional regulations, connections to Mainland China may be slow, unstable, or completely unavailable. This is entirely beyond our control.
Refund requests citing Mainland China network quality as the reason, including but not limited to slow speeds, high latency, packet loss, connection failures, or inability to access any website or service from or to Mainland China, WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT EXCEPTION, even if the request is made within the 7-day refund window.
The 7-day unconditional refund policy DOES NOT apply to any issue related to Mainland China network connectivity. By purchasing our services, you acknowledge and accept this condition.
4.1 Refund Eligibility
Subject to the Mainland China Network Disclaimer above, refund requests will be accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:
1. Timeframe
- Within 7 days of service activation: full refund available
- After 7 days: refund based on the remaining unused service value
2. IP Status
- The assigned IP address must not be listed on any public or commercial blacklist
3. Bandwidth Usage
- Total bandwidth usage must be less than 10GB
4.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances
In addition to the Mainland China exclusion above, refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
1. Service suspension or termination due to abuse, including but not limited to:
- Hacking activities
- Scanning or attacking behavior
- Violations of this Agreement, the DMCA, or applicable laws
2. Inability to use certain network services, including but not limited to:
- Streaming or video services
- Online games
- Third-party platforms or applications
5. Service Availability and Disclaimer
The Company does not guarantee that the Services will meet all specific requirements or provide access to all third-party services. Restrictions caused by network conditions, international routing, carriers, or regional regulations are beyond the Company's control.
6. Agreement Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is registered. Users are additionally required to comply with applicable laws and regulations of Japan and Singapore.
